Prophet and Loss

Esquire Magazine - UK Edition - April 2013

This is the article by Daniel Kalder that was published in the April 2013 United Kingdom Edition of Esquire Magazine.  I was interviewed by Daniel in December of 2012 and photographed for the piece by Matthew Rainwater shortly after the interview.  I asked Daniel Kalder if I could record my interview with him and he agreed. I always want a record so I can verify if my words were twisted to mean something else. I hate it when reporters have an agenda and put their own spin on what was said, or, edit out parts to make you say what they want to be heard!  I am going to share that interview with you because there was much, much more said than could fit in this magazine article.  I want to thank Daniel for doing his best on telling my side of things because I am NOT the most popular guy in the Branch Davidian Movement because of the stand I took. I basically sighed and cried for the abominations that were done by the leadership of our church and I came against them in 1984 and exposed their sins and called them to repentance.

Nine years later, on April 19, 1993, to the day and the hour that I pointed my finger at David Koresh and declared the judgment of Ezekiel 9 on him, the fire started at New Mount Carmel and consumed the whole complex with a dead David Koresh and most of his dead followers!

Nine is the number of judgment. This teaching that an apostate leadership would receive the Ezekiel 9 slaughter was taught by Branch Davidians for years, but they self-righteously taught that it would be received by everyone who did not believe in Koresh as messiah. But, it was Koresh that was bringing the apostasy within the Seventh Day Adventist Movement as prophesied by its founder, Ellen G. White.  She said they would reject Christ and the Holy Spirit and accept an imposter who claimed he had the mind of God, that he sat in the seat of God, and that he was God, as stated in Ezekiel Chapter 28 (see also The Omega of Apostasy in this site for more info).

Koresh actually agreed with my declaration of judgment on him and his followers infront of many witnesses and even stated to them that I was teaching truth. It seems he had basically accepted his fate to fulfill the prophesies connected to this rebellion and outright apostasy in the House of God!

1 Peter 4:17-19 states: "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that believe not the gospel of God?

And if the righteous  scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Wherefore, let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator."

IF THE DAVIDIAN BRANCH DAVIDIAN SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS WERE TRULY THE HOUSE OF GOD, AS THEY BELIEVED, THEN, THE JUDGMENT MUST BEGIN WITH THEM! I BELIEVE KORESH UNDERSTOOD THIS, BUT THE ELDERS THOUGHT THEY WERE TO JUDGE ALL OTHER CHURCHES BY THEIR BELIEFS.

HISTORY PROVED KORESH TO BE RIGHT, BUT HIS FOLLOWERS TO BE WRONG, ESPECIALLY THE ELDERS, THE LEADERSHIP OF THE DAVIDIAN BRANCH DSDA MOVEMENTWHOM HE SAID HE CAME TO JUDGE, AND, BY FOLLOWING HIM INTO APOSTASY, THEY WERE JUDGED WITH HIM!

WHAT A PARADOX! BUT, WAS NOT THE RIGHTEOUS SON OF GOD BECOMING SIN A PARADOX, TOO? YEHOSHUA WAS PERFECT, WHILE KORESH AND HIS BODY OF FOLLOWERS WERE IMPERFECT, BUT LIKE CHRIST, THEY WERE OBEDIENT UNTO DEATH, WHICH IN THE EYES OF GOD, MADE THEM RIGHTEOUS, AS HIS SON WAS RIGHTEOUS, BY BECOMING OUR SIN BEARER!

IF THE LORD CAN SAVE AND PARDON KORESH AND HIS FOLLOWERS BECAUSE THEY OBEYED GOD'S WILL FOR THEM TO BE AN EXAMPLE TO THE CHURCHES AND THE WORLD, THAT WE CAN NOT REJECT OUR CREATORS AND ACCEPT TO FOLLOW A CREATED BEING EVEN UNTO DEATH, THEN, GOD WILL SAVE ANYONE OR EVERYONE THAT CHOOSES TO BE OBEDIENT, EVEN UNTO DEATH!
